Review: NUXE Beauty Products

Do you even Huile Prodigieuse? Trying out some of NUXE Beauty products and letting you know what I think!

When I received my first Huile Prodigieuse in a recent gift bag, I had to try some more of their products. I'm sure you've seen the logo before, they are internationally known but originated in Paris so I can see how the Europe presence is bigger than in the US.

Starting out with Huile Prodigieuse, this is their most popular item and success story of the brand. It's a scented dry oil for face, body and hair. I brought it to my office and my coworkers said it smells just like the hotel they stay at in Hong Kong. They reassured me that it's a good thing! This stuff smells really great, it's a fresh and clean scent and doesn't make you smell like you oversprayed perfume on yourself. I'm resistant to trying it on my hair, but for body it makes your skin super soft!

The shimmering version of it is even better. It has a nice, subtle golden bronze to it. It's not greasy at all. Here's a photo of it sprayed onto my skin as it air dries. I can imagine it would be great for a mist on bikini body. Can't wait to bring this to Maui!

The Toning Lotion with Rose Petals refreshes your skin after makeup removal. I actually used this to take off the oil on my hand and it came right off! It isn't supposed to be used in place of makeup remover, and it doesn't take off eye makeup. But after using a remover you get that sticky oily feeling around your eyes, this takes that residue right off. I really liked this one and definitely will incorporate it into my nighttime routine from now!

It's really gentle and also smells great. It suggests using a cotton ball for application, and I can't imagine you could use anything else because it's very watery and thin. But I love the absolute lack of oil in it - so refreshing!

As for the anti-aging eye cream, I can't say whether it works or not because it's supposed to prevent wrinkles. I didn't notice much of a difference in diminishing dark circles or eye bags, so I'm guessing it needs to be used over time. If I see an improvement with this I will make an update. For now, I would consider it just a light lotion to refresh your eyes in the morning, and hopefully help in preventing wrinkles and dark circles!
The last product is the Lip Balm. I have to advise you that this is a $19 pot of lip balm. It seems pretty expensive for what it is, but it would last you a lifetime. A tiny bit of it goes a long way, and it will pretty much immediately make a difference in the appearance of your lips overnight. I noticed in the morning my lips were softer and maybe even a little bit more plump. It has a great taste, just a subtle grapefruit. I would view this more of an overnight mask because it doesn't provide any immediate hydration, but it has a thicker consistency that will sit overnight and you'll notice the difference in the morning !
